# Whitney Training API

> Build SFT, reinforcement-learning, distillation, and evaluation loops with provider-neutral HTTP primitives.

## The core shape

1. Read `GET /v1/training/capabilities`.
2. Create a provider-routed session.
3. Create one LoRA run on that session.
4. Submit ordered training and sampler primitives.
5. Poll each durable operation until terminal.
6. Save resume state or export a LoRA adapter, then finish and close.

Use `provider: auto` unless you need deterministic provider routing. Every
provider and model returned by capabilities is admitted for the operations it
advertises.
